Update: Rain shuts down Highway 58 east of Bakersfield

The Highway Patrol has reopened eastbound Highway 58 west of General Beale Road. It had been closed due to flooding.

Bear Mountain Boulevard(Highway 223) has reopened at Tower Line Road however traffic is restricted to westbound Highway 58.
