The Anaheim Ducks no longer have Disney, but they have something better, the Bakersfield Condors.
In fact, when it comes to an NHL affiliate the Condors now have something to quack about.
Anaheim Ducks Vice President and General Manager Brian Burke announced the affiliation agreement between his NHL team and the Bakersfield Condors.
It's a one year affiliation contract, but the Ducks expect to extend that deal and plan on being in Bakersfield for years to come.
Both teams worked on this deal for about 6 months before finalizing it.
For the Condors, this ends 10 years of skating without an NHL affiliate.
