Update: CHP opens Highway 58
The CHP closed the pass from Bakersfield to Mojave due to snow and ice around 8 p.m. Tuesday. Interstate 5 over the Grapevine remained open as Caltrans crews removed some accumulated snow early Wednesday morning.
