Update: Amber Alert has been canceled, suspect arrested, children safe
Merced CHP officers located the vehicle and arrested the suspect. The children are safe.
Stanislaus County officials say the suspect 47-year-old Phillip Tumilty was involved in an argument with his ex-wife. They later learned the 2 children were not taken to school.
