bben, haven't noticed it mentioned locally but the L.A.Times reports that about 3 hours after the Amtrak crash and ten miles east of Hanford, another truck ran into a freight train.

The high speed line won't have roads crossing it, but just leave it to some maniac truck driver like this one to try and beat it anyway. Those misfits can always find a way.

Wait untill we get the High Speed Rail cruising at 200mph. If it derails instead of 20 out of 173 abard receiving moderate injuries the story will be all 173 will be mangled and dead.
