Officials have released the names of two men killed over the weekend in a crash in Buttonwillow.

28-year-old Randy Bertrand and 31-year-old Daniel Ezzell from Bakersfield were thrown from their BMW after it rolled several times on Highway 58 Saturday night.

The CHP says the driver of the BMW was trying to pass a slow moving vehicle. He swerved and the BMW overcorrected. It came to rest on its wheels in the dirt off the side of the roadway.

Investigators say the men were not wearing seatbelts.
