Two people have been hospitalized after being stabbed overnight in east Bakersfield.
The stabbing happened about 1:30 Tuesday morning on Pioneer Drive just west of Fairfax Road. Deputies say both victims were stabbed in the chest area and were taken to a hospital.
It's unclear at this point what led to the incident but deputies are looking into whether it's gang related.
No suspects have been arrested.
