Diamondnae seems to speak about CPS as if she has had her share of dealings with them. All I can make of her post is that she feels that she has been victimized and feels that they should have bigger fish to fry. That would be my best guess. I've been on both sides of this issue. I've had CPS called on me (investigation unfounded ALL allegations)and I've now been connected to child welfare services now for about 3 years. Social Workers are NOT in the business of just pulling kids out of the home anymore. If anything else, over the past 3 years they (social workers) are too afraid of their own d@mn shaddow. Changes in the law have stripped social workers of much of their discretion. I've accompanied a social worker where we walked into a home with a 8 month old laying in a crappy diaper under a pot cloud and there was no food in the home. All the social worker could do is get the mom to sign an unenforceable safety plan that she would enroll in drug treatment...thats it...signing a piece of paper. Does anyone here HONESTLY believe that the social worker WANTED to keep that child in the home? I've seen too many instances where a social worker DID remove a child from the home only to have County Counsel 86 the removal. CPS is not allowed to act or intervene when there are CLEAR warning signs. They have to wait until there is a catastrophe to act.Their structured decision making model leaves NO room for social workers to act on warning signs. That's how they can make the case that CPS 'could not have predicted that A would lead to B'. They are also called upon to investigate and close a case in 30 days. Its a joke! There is NO follow up after that 30 days. Diamond, I have a very difficult time believing you are a victim. Stop playing victim by blaming the system and start taking personal responsibility.

People need to know when to hold their toung.I want the person who called in on the case that I have talked about to know that they have DESTROYED many lives. My children were taken along with my new born, because someone felt as through my son was abused. No they did not ask what happen to him , HELL just assumed they were right and now our lives will never be the same.Ask before you seek 911 to arrest. My children are tainted by CPS and the lies that was told in the court room, but their right because they say they are. I was told by social worker Kathy that I have to say these thing this ways in my report eventhrough you say driffernt so don't be surprise at what you may read.In order for the truth to be told, have them record the metting between the workers hell have them take a liar test and see who will pass? Budget cut, hell have you ever visited the human services office and waited in a line to see the worker sitting back in their chair talking to each other as the line grew down the hall way.Just like being in a food line and they close to go on a break well that's were the budget money is going. FAT lazy ass pre judging those that have to visit that office. Now I took a friend in and she said it is like that always. When will they do right by the children they say they have helped? Ask CPS to come forth and be truthful about the lies they say, ask them not to stand in behind their law book because I 'm sure it says nothing about what they are governed to do as they add on. Common sense would tell you that children can turn on water even if someone is standing their. Children are quick, but for no one as been charged in this case but the child in still in the hospital.Please give me the police that was sent to her home, better yet were are the CPS workers because they should have came out on my case. WHO'S AFRAID OF THE BIG BAD WOLFES ? As the news post stories about those whom has done wrong , post stories, search for people to tell their stories of being wrongful accussed .Whos willing to help those being delt the wrong hand. Allow yourself to be fair and print stories, or are you afarid as so many others are. I have sent letter to 23 your on myside to 17 news , The Nacy Grace Show, NCACP, and others. Guess what NO ONE has step up to help. I obtain an private lawyer and she as well as the public defender are on the same page .. Do as they to you to do and your baby will come home , well I have done just that and nothing, now it's about would you give the baby father up to get your child home ? If so you would have to leave town so that you could be together. Now in saying this they explain to me because he is a black man and I am a white women is a reason why we would have to leave town. Spoke to the doctor that read my sons report of his burn on his feet and he was surpose to convince me that was not a accident , that it was done with the will to cause harm to my child, now mind you I said read a report by CPSnever had he seen my son he was going on the report that he was given. He is not willing to chance his story because then he along with the state would be looking at a law suite along with the state. Never mind you he was wrong because he said he was given the wrong pictures and they were not dated , but I can't change my story he said.Now my children are in the care of the state.Let a independent doctor come in in these cases and give their report, see they are paied by the state to! I have and never have received county for my children,so don't think this wont happen to you. Someone said that the kidswere outside playing without shoes, well were thy running inthe streets, were they dirty, hell we will never no. Why talk now when you had a chance to make a drifference.Sometime people lie on others in order to cause problems.

BEWARE OF CPS,better yet Kern County! I wounder if we can give names of some of the workers that has cross our paths? Your story could be true as Hell but let them tell it,you would think that it was a movie script written just for your eyes only. Please trust NO ONE,because they are not your friend!The public defriender will sell you out because what they see is what that see. No matter what you say you are GUILTY ,because they work for the same people.(STATE)I PRAY that someone would step up to the plate and be TRUTHFUL about the lifes they have destroyed because they had a stick up their asses. Remember Mr. Man that had bit his sons eye out, well the reports reads that he had pleaded GUILTY of willful curelty to a child, but they seen fit to allow his son to be left with him. Now they answered that they can not foresee the future when they returned the children, then who makes them god to judge in the first place. Yes our children need to be protected, but by whom. We as parents had not be given a hand books be learn , we are taught, and we will make mistakes in the raising of them, but you live and learn. After carrying a baby for nine months do you believe that a person in their right mind would take that child life? It is so unfair to the children that are not wanted by their parents, but why do we all have to suffer from another one issues? Look at the 3 strike we are not responsible for the person that murdered his family member. We should be treated on an a individual bases when it comes down to the cases put forth by these case workers. Now I no of a case were the child was removed fro mthe mother and she wasnot even at home when her child jumped in the bath tub and his feet was burned.They say it was not an accident but never came to the home, charges brought up and drop because the criminal case was unfounded, but the juvenile said they were GUILTY ,how could that be? Because they make up the rules as they go allong. Have Mercy on CPS...

Classem must be a social worker! I wounder if you were one of the ones in the WITCH HUNT, or better yet what about the Mean Justice.. Come on people here they talk about the budget cuts effecting their way of protecting the children , well someones bright butt ideal was to allow the kids to do as they do, meaning they took the authority from the parents and now someone has to pay for. We are not allowed to raise our children as our parents raised us. See the Bible says SPARE THE ROD ,SPOIL THE CHILD... The meaning to this is to Lay Hands on them, not abuse but get them on the right path. We now have our children being raised by others, and how well do you check them out? You see here a few monthe ago you had a Ms. King arrested for killing her son, now mine you she was checked out, look at the others that were given theses children because their parents were so called unfit.Well how many were molested by their fostering parents? WHO are you to prejudge anyone lifestyle when we are unsure of whats going on in your home.I do believe their was a case worker arrested for abuse not long ago.I'm sure you have a ideal of you she is because she was your coworker. Years ago I went through the foster classes offered by your office. You see you have this kids believing that they were abused, and then they are taken from their families. Truely how many foster parents foster because they care, better yet what about the checks that come along with these children.The more problems the child has the more money you get to house this children. I saided house because what needs to be done is the STATE needs to come in and revamp Kern County CPS system. Wow without the children being confiscate by the workers, Hell the would not even have a job.Whats gona happen is because the state is cutting the budget these children our children will be done like 2nd and 3rd world places were they are all put into a institute, then no one gets paied. I think it is not right for a neighbor to tell a child that he/she CAN NOT play in their own front yard. Why wasn't the mother spoken to, if the neighbors were so concerned. CPS CANNOT GIVE OUT INFO DUE TO CONFIDENTIALITY LAWS!! Now with that said, neighbors, friends, anyone who sees this going on NEEDS to call CPS!! Want the number?!?! Its 631-6011. And BTW with all these budget cuts we are losing even more workers. So please please call and dont expect us to magically know when your neighbor's kid, your brother's son, or your child's friend is being abused if you do not report it!

Again, someone is yacking about CPS wrongdoing. Horsecr@p people!!! They do everything within state welfare code guidelines to protect these children. If you have a beef with child welfare laws, blame the law makers and the civil liberties lawyers you give abusive parents more chances than the children being abused (who are never really given a chance). I also find it ironic that people talk about 'CPS gone wrong' when we continue to vote to cut prevention programs labeling them as 'government waste'. Are we wanting solutions or are we wanting a scapegoat? P.S; MCurliss-you really need to familiarize yourself with California's confidentiality laws.
