Testimony: Kern smuggler is modern-day Robin Hood

A Bakersfield man was the ''Robin Hood'' leader of a Kern County smuggling operation that sold millions of dollars of cocaine to gangs in Canada and used the money to help impoverished villagers in India, according to testimony at a federal trial.

News media don't repeat such comments as "modern day Robin Hood"; the man is a low life criminal. Even if he gave money to some poor villagers, look at the suffering he instilled in others. I wish the news media would be more careful in putting out labels. For example, don't call suiside bombers "masterminds"; call them what they are, criminals, deranged, sicko's,etc.
