BRAVO OLDFART!!! You took the words out of my mouth!!! Everyone has been teased or mistreated by their peers at some point growing up. We all survived and we all did it without killing ourselves or other people. Bullying is the new excuse people are using to explain their actions. Its sickening, and its stupid!

We all have been bullied at one time or another in our lives it's no reason to kill ones self! Now someone that walks around acting like an odd ball is asking to be picked on it's human nature! Now to blame the schools for what should be the job of the parents is wrong! So now the schools will adopt a new curiculum for kicking out kids for being kids! I hope they word these new rule within reason but I bet it will get all messed up!

Maybe the parents should teach their little angels the differance of right and wrong including the one that took his life! The teachers try to do this and the parents get in a up roar everytime! The schools are there for an eduction not to raise your children that the parents job so do it!

I agree with you murph. I also feel like this bullying this is starting to get out of hand, with so many people jumping on the ban wagon and saying they have been bullied. Everyone has a different definition of bullying. It can be because you were teased or it can be something more serious. How are these children who are "bullied" thinking its okay to kill another person?

What happened to Seth Walsh should not be allowed to continue. Seth was 13-years old when he took his own life. It is said that the bullying was going on for a few years, making Seth about 9 or 10 years old!!! What does sexual orientation have to do with a 9-13 year old? The issue here was not about his being gay. But if so, what of it? This young boy was ridiculed, pushed into lockers, tripped and knocked to the ground. Perhaps this is “normal kid behavior” but it needs to be STOPPED. Teachers and administrators need to be held responsible in educating the children that bullying is WRONG! Schools have do do this because there are some children that are not learning this at home. If not checked, bullying will continue on thru adulthood like in victimizing others, child and spousal abuse, victimizing in the workplace, and perhaps in religious “witnessing” in the name of God, etc. Bullying has been ignored and pushed under the table long enough. It’s WRONG. And like a cancer, it will continue to GROW if we do nothing about it.

What the schools should adopt is a keep it to yourself at school rules and do not act it out in front of other students! This gay thing is getting out of hand!
