Friends and family are remembering an 18-year-old Bakersfield High School student, who was killed after crashing his ATV.

The accident happened Friday night on Panama Lane, west of South Enos Lane.

18-year-old Brenton Miller was riding his ATV in a dirt field when he crossed over into Panama Lane.

California Highway Patrol officers say Miller crashed into 40-year-old Mervin Williams.

According to the CHP, Miller was thrown from the bike and later died.

They say alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash.
