People do dumb things with their own money all the time. this is nothing new. What do you think a payday advance loan is? something dumb to do with your money. Same thing with a chack cashing service or these obscene high interest lonas that Montel Williams hawks on late night TV. An idiot and his money will soon part.

The best solution is don't allow as much money to be withheld from your pay check. I've seen people excited the government was giving them over a thousand dollar refund. It's their money, the government was using it interest free.
