Yes leave it to the over taxing and endless spending Democrats but then again they have to find some way to keep the welfare programs alive to keep their voting pool alive!

As of July 1, 2012 Excise tax on Gas was 35.7 cents, 12.9 cents other taxes for a total of 48.6 cents. with a 3.5 cent increase it will be 52 cents putting Calif as #1 highest gas tax. Plus there's the federal excise tax of 18.4 cents. With the increase total will be 70.5 cents per gallon taxes. In perspective Arizona has 19 cents state gas tax, so have enough gas to get out of state, then fill up and vacation outside Calif.
