Congratulations David. You should be justifiably proud that you raised a terrific son. I hope he quickly finds the mental strength to return to his classroom. I'm sure his students will welcome him warmly.

I'm curious when media and press decided it was okay to name juveniles in their stories. No matter if they're the "suspected shooter" or "victim" they're still juveniles. If in fact this "victim" was bullying the "suspected shooter" he should be held accountable for his actions that lead to this. All Kern County schools need to be reviewing their "anti bullying" policies and see where things can be improved.

"The suspected shooter, Bryan Oliver," was taken into custody. By the term suspected it could mean they have the wrong suspect and the real shooter walked away to plan another attack.
