Suspects are wanted in the shooting of man in east Bakersfield. Deputies were called to the 1700 block of Gage Street, near Flower Street, just after 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night. When they arrived, they found 28-year-old Edward Pulido who had been shot. He was taken to Kern Medical Center where he is said to be alert.
People in the neighborhood say they're on edge.
"It feels scary. Real scary because I've got kids in the neighborhood who play here every day," said Estella Perkins who lives nearby.
Deputies say the motive for the shooting isn't clear just yet and no arrests have been made. Witnesses say they saw a black truck leave the scene after the shooting.
