The Bakersfield Jam says center Robert Swift and guard/forward Justin Hawkins were assigned to the team. Swift comes to the Jam after 5 NBA seasons. He played local high school basketball for Garces and Bakersfield High schools.
Hawkins played college basketball at New Mexico State and spent the past season in France's ProA league.
