Special election to be held for Bakersfield City Council seat

Ward One residents got their wish Wednesday night. A special election will be held to fill the seat vacated by Rudy Salas.

After all of the Martin Luther King speechs last night the city council was afraid not to give them their election! Now if the city was to make ward 1 pay for this special election the King speechs would be how racist Bakersfield is for making them pay for it! Odd how the poorest wards always gets their way at everyone else cost!
