Have any superintendents of local school districts publicly said, "School staff is allowed to carry pepper-spray and/or tasers." I teach in the KHSD and have asked for several years whether I am allowed to do that. I always get the answer, "It's not explicitly prohibited, but it's not permitted either. If you get caught with it or use it, you'll get hammered." How about it Supes?!? How about it school boards?!? Address it. Make it explicitly, officially ok!

Bravo, I think we need to get our Vets some support on trying to protect our kids. Let them walk around in classes, halls, and outside. I would be willing to pay additional taxes to keep our kids safe. This gives the Vets a job to help them out and help our children be and feel safe. Sharon
