Organizers of the Bakersfield Business Conference announced Sunday that 2008 Republican Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin and Academy Award Winning Actress Goldie Hawn will address the Bakersfield Business Conference on October 9, 2010.

Last week, Conference organizers announced that former first lady Laura W. Bush and impressionist Rich Little will appear at the 2010 event. Two weeks ago, former Vice President Dick Cheney and former Second Lady Lynne Cheney were confirmed as part of the 2010 Conference speaker lineup.

Conference organizer George F. Martin explains the selection of Sarah Palin and Goldie Hawn:  "Sarah Palin is one of the most talked-about figures in public life today. We believe that the 2010 Bakersfield Business Conference will play a special role in a national discussion about policy and principle leading up to the 2010 elections and Sarah Palin will be a big part of that discussion. She also has unique insight into the energy sector of our economy and a candid approach to sharing that knowledge. Understanding the future of the energy industry and energy policy is important to understanding the overall business environment as well as key economic trends in the short and long-run.

“Goldie Hawn is one of the most talented actresses in Hollywood. She’s also a masterful storyteller and a successful
entrepreneur. We think our audience will be impressed with the wit and the wisdom Goldie will bring to the Conference stage.”
Business Conference Communications Director Brandon Martin said, “How many people other than Sarah Palin make headlines around the world when they update their Facebook page? Sarah Palin’s comments, positions, and endorsements were some of the biggest news stories and topics of discussion during the last election cycle and every indication shows that she’ll continue to be a national thought-leader in years to come.”

The Bakersfield Business Conference is one of the nation's premiere platform speaking events. Over the years, the
Conference has built a loyal following with its playful and patriotic ambiance and its presentation of politically-savvy
entertainers alongside top business leaders, sports heroes, leading journalists, Nobel Prize winners, and veteran
political figures.

She does have a lot of experience, but at what? Not educating her daughter about unprotected sex could be considered experience. She has definitely proven herself experienced at lying, I mean stretching the truth. I do have to thank her though. Without her experience and expertise, President Obama would not have been elected. I heard they are looking for a governor in Siberia, she does have experience with the cold weather.

Sarah Palin is a decent upright woman of faith and integrity. Her critics believe anything the distorted media wants to cram down their throats. She has a lot more experience than the "community organizer" and all of his radical communist czars and friends. Good people are hard to come by and Sarah Palin is one of the best!

< This epitomizes the current values of this Country - UGH! Her book has been proven to be full of lies and distortions - she is a horrible example of the problems of underage unwed daughters (STATUTORY RAPE under the age) promotes and tries to have people believe the WAR IS GODS WAR . . . sick, sick, sick. < <

Another chance for Palin to open her mouth and put her foot in it. Thank goodness she is speaking, she will help the Democrats once again. Thank you Sarah.

Welcome to the RNC! Of course, for the price of admission, only a Republican can afford to attend.
