That would put too man wal-marts too close to each other. No don't turn it into section 8 housing. No grocery stores close for them to walk too.I don't have the answer for it's use, maybe someone else will come up with an idea

Anyone that drives this area in the morning or five o'clock rust knows by adding a wally world at the location would be the worse ideal they could come up with! Even DR999 came up with Walmart and Target stores are located at all corners of the city, there is no point in the city where you can not drive to one of them within 10 minutes or less!

Since a lot of people are on welfare ( cause it has so many perks ) turn the lot into section 8 housing.

So Dawn Stubbs says she has to drive out to Oildale or Panama Ln. to go to a Walmart or Target from where she works in the complex of the now closed Mervyn's on California Ave.? The large Target store at the Valley Plaza is probably 10-13 minutes from where she works. The large Target store at Stockdale and Buena Vista is probably the same driving distance away. And where is there a Walmart or Target store located in Oildale? Whoever wrote this article needs to check their facts before they post this crap.
