17 News is teaming up with the Kern Chapter of the American Red Cross to raise money for those who've lost everything in the recent fires.
Red Cross officials say they need to raise at least $20,000 to help those affected by the wildfires.
The funds will be used for hotels, clothing and food.
Our Red Cross Drive will be held Monday, August 2nd from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. outside the KGET Studios at 22nd and L streets.
You can also donate blood to the Houchin Blood Bank which is in dire need of all types of blood.
