A public meeting will be held Thursday night on the final environmental impact report on the Lake Isabella Dam.
The 600 page document analyzes a wide variety of issues such as seepage, seismic risks, and the need to raise the height of the dam to contain water from what's described as a maximum probability flood event.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host the meeting starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Rabobank Convention Center in the Potato Room. They will take public comments.
