President Obama arrived at Meadows Field just before 10:15 a.m. onboard Air Force One, greeted people on the tarmac, then headed off to Keene in the Presidential motorcade to dedicate the Cesar Chavez Memorial at La Paz.

Chavez's son Paul spoke before the President, along with United Farm Workers of America President Arturo Rodriguez who introduced President Obama.

This is the President's first trip to Kern County.

Furthermore if he was here to honor anyone he should have at least stopped by the Bakersfield National Cemetery which is a whopping 8 miles away. Its obvious his entire California trip is a campaign trip, he spent a few hours in Keene to get more of the Hispanic vote and now hes at a fund raiser in SF. He wasnt here to honor anyone.
