I saw this report on KERO news yesterday evening. The husband, (Nick Kaiser), didn't want to be identified by name, and his face was blurred out on the video. Guess that didn't work out to well for him, did it?

The Kaiser's should contact a few nurseries. Depending on the variety, a mature palm tree can be worth a few dollars. Biggest problem is it's accessability for removal and if anyone wants it, because they are not cheap to move.

An 10 year old knows that trees only grow up. If there are power lines above where you plant that same 10 year old would be able to predict what's going to happen. Now these people want PG&E to pay for their own lack of common sense. Pathetic.

I don't know why people plant those tree's. they don't take careof them & have hem trimed. Rats love to live in them. Code control has to come trim them cause owner won't then that cost is added to owners tax bill. They are messy trees
