Bakersfield Police are looking for a man they say used a cell phone to take a picture of a woman in a department store fitting room.

Officers say it happed Oct. 7 around 1:50 p.m.

The man walked into one of the women's fitting rooms at Macy's Department Store at Valley Plaza Mall and used the camera phone to snap the picture under the door.

"When the woman saw what was happening she screamed and the suspect fled," said BPD spokeswoman Det. Mary DeGeare in a news release.

The man in his late teens or early 20's is described as dark-complected with short dark
hair. At the time he was wearing a cream colored sweater, light blue jeans, and white shoes.

Anyone with any information is asked to call contact Det. Damon Youngblood at 326-3558.
