First of all you ignorant people, you have to have the proper paper work to receive welfare in the United States. People who come here illegally cannot get food stamps so that 80% that you are talking about are all of the legal residents who live here, this includes military personal and their families. I know this because I was one of the military personal receiving aid. Thank you Obama for all of the cut backs! As far as Bakersfield becoming like Mexico, wake the hell up! Bakersfield has been majority Mexican for as long as I can remember. The only time that it wasn't was during the dust bowl when it was filled with racist white people who were against the other white people who were coming from Oklahoma and the like. These people where searching for jobs and our racist white Bakersfield residents of the time treated them like crap. It seems that from your ignorant comments that things do not change. You keep sitting there your healthcare and your comfy surroundings and you keep ridiculing people who have nothing though cause it helps. Instead of having feelings for a fellow human being and having concern that in the United States there are people who have to resort to this sort of desperate measure to receive medical care you keep sitting there and complain that you think that Bakersfield is becoming like Mexico. Oh yeah, and the next time you eat a piece of fruit, think of Mexico too.
