It is a good idea to cut sports before you cut teachers salaries. Sports are priveleges. How many people in Kern County have gone on to the "bigs" and have become stars? They wouldn't be in school if it wasn't for the teachers. Go ahead cut sports, and save education.

Why shoudl we be blammed for the district using all the money.. If it would really save 430,00$ then why arent't we saving money on other things like more computers. We need the Jv sports because do you really think everyone is good enough for varsity or they can be better to play Jv than Frosoph, no. If we have only Varsity and FroSoph and people dont make Varsity then what was the point of trying out if you knew that you werent goog enough.. I say we keep Jv sports and cut down on other things so we don't have to spend so much money all the time. Money is everything to them oh we need this becuase other school have it.. this is not fair to us if we loose Jv sports it should be your fault because you make stupid descions on the money and saying we have to be tight on money then why are they using all of our money..if we have to be so tight in money then why are we being blammed for your stupid descions.. This isnt fair... They need to keep Jv sports or i think there will be alot more complaints then just these..

Money, everything is about money first. After money comes politics. After that, god. There is something more going on here other than yet another form of panic at the expense of young people. I wonder, who profits from specific forms of panic? I know there is variation from context to context, but there is always something won when kids lose; MONEY, MONEY, MONEY! oh where does it all go?
