Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in central Bakersfield.
Officers were called to an apartment building on Eye and 6th Streets around seven o'clock Sunday night. Police say officers found the victim dead in the courtyard.
There are no suspects at this time and the victim's name has not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
