One person is dead after a terrible accident on Interstate Five. The crash happened just before 9:00 Monday night on southbound I-5 and Lerdo Highway.
According to CHP, the FJ Cruiser tried to change lanes and struck another vehicle which caused the Cruiser to roll over into a field.
The front seat passenger in the Cruiser was pinned in and died on scene. Four other people in that car were taken to Kern Medical Center with injuries ranging from minor to major.
The driver in the other vehicle refused medical aid.
