I believe we have the right to bear arms so that we can protect ourselves from a tyranical government. With all the restrictions, laws, rules, regulations, taxes, penalties, etc. that the government is forcing on us I think they have just backed up the point of the second amendment. Our government is turning into a tyranical monster and the next step is to disarm lawful citizens so that there can be no civil uprising. Unfortunately, at some point in time I believe this could happen. I don't know if it will happen in my lifetime but I think it is certainly a possibility when the citizens get tired of it all.

There are already laws onthe books making such actions a criminal act punishable by prison. Insurance is not necessary nor appropriate. We need to start prosecuting the people who break these laws but there isn't enough money to put them in jail.

The isurance companies are drooling over this one, Cha-Ching. And today there was an article on another news outlet that 2 Dem. Legislators in Sac. have authored bills that would add a 5 cent per bullet tax to all ammunition purchases in the State. Now, we all know that there is not a single illegal gun owner who is going to be paying attention to these new taxes/fees but the legal gun owners are going to be shafted again and again and again unless they go outside of CA for their purchases or buy online.

Another stupid law by stupid liberals!

Insurance is required by law to own and drive a car? Why do I have to have uninsured coverage to protect me from an uninsured driver?
