A young cancer survivor is the inspiration behind a new chew at Dewar's in Bakersfield.

It's called the Tiger chew and tastes like an orange creamsicle or 50/50 bar.

Five-year-old Ryan Wilson is a leukemia survivor and his team "Tigerfight" participates in the Light the Night" walk every year, benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Ryan's dad came up with the idea for a chew and approached the Dewar family.

"I thought it would appeal to a lot of people. It's a flavor people remember from their childhood with the ice cream trucks and the orange creamsicles or the 50/50 bar" said Chris Wilson.

The new chews are sold at Dewar's, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
