A 3-year-old boy was reunited with his family Friday afternoon, following a frantic search in central Bakersfield.
Aurora Bastilla said she was doing laundry outside when she turned around and realized her son, Aurillo, wasn't there. A 30-minute search was soon underway.
It turns out the little boy had wandered off to a neighbor's house and was playing with one of his friends.
When deputies came looking for the boy, neighbors pointed out he was safe and sound.
Bastilla says the worst was going through her mind.
"Somebody take him, a lot about, I don't know. It was scary," she said.
Bastilla says she'll never take her eyes off her son again.
