FYI rvlady, as ignorant as most of your comments are, I still use them. I print them and give them to my 7 year old grand daughter to highlight all the grammar errors, misspellings, and other errors. It keeps her busy. Thanks.

rvlady, you never cease to amaze me with your ignorant comments. The man is dead. So explain to us how his medical insurance will provide for his family and put his kids thru college. And being a CHP officer for only 14 years would not have put much in his retirement yet. Besides, CalPERS has rules as far as how much and when surviving members can get any money. I'm not sure if he had private life insurance, but most policies don't pay if the person commits suicide. Does this help you understand a little better why the family could use some financial help. And furthermore, some caring people like to assist those in need at a difficult time. You obviously aren't one of those people.
