Do you know what day of the week your child was born on? Perhaps you can recall your high school locker combination?

Those are just a few questions contestants will be fielding on NBC’s new game show Amnesia.

A man with local ties is a contestant on the premiere edition of Amnesia, and he has a chance to win big money.

Will Fowler said he and his wife has always wanted to be on a game show, so when they saw the casting call posted in Los Angeles, he didn’t hesitate to try out. But he said he never knew what he was in for.

"You have to know one subject really well...and that subject is you,” he said.

The purpose of the game is to delve deep into your personal life and see just how much you can remember.

"They find verifiable facts that you may or many not remember,” Fowler said. “They asked another guy, they brought out five women in wedding dresses and they asked him, "which one is your wife's dress?’ You know, something important you are supposed to remember...but it's amazing what you don't think of on the spot."

For $20,000, Fowler was asked on the show what his wife’s correct ring size was.

"I was just sitting there with my poker face, hoping he would remember,” said his wife, Jenny.

To find out if he got the $20,000 question right, watch TV-17 Friday at 9 p.m. for the airing of Amnesia.
