A SWAT standoff in east Bakersfield is over after a man surrendered Tuesday morning.

The standoff ended just after 5:00 a.m. Deputies say 59-year-old Raymond Lozano stabbed his roommate in the Pioneer Pines mobile home park on Eucalyptus Drive around 10 o'clock Monday night.

Zachary Williams, 21, received just minor cuts to his hands and was not taken to the hospital but he told authorities Lozano was hiding inside the home. Deputies say Lozano refused to come out so the SWAT team went in to get him.

He was taken to KMC to be checked out and is expected to be booked on assault and resisting arrest charges.
