The saddest thing is there is no direct proof that this guy did anything besides make an ass out of himself on TV. Everyone likes a skape-goat, and the boyfriend is the easy target. The coroner says the child died of internal injuries that could have occured any time in the previous four days. That mother left her children with MANY other LOOSERS during that time besides Josh. And for that matter, they have unsupervised "rough housing" almost every day, which leads me to believe any one of the other children could have accidentally inflicted these injuries on the child. I pray for the children, and the truth.

This mother is just as guilty as the boyfriend. The boyfriend is sick, and twisted. "It was his time." WTF?! Really? How does he get off saying that? What a stupid, ignorant, and immature individual. IMO, the mom is just buying time until she's arrested too. Stupid, stupid people.

Ok so the mom is now warning other moms out there not to leave there child with there boyfriends when I don't know if she's stupid or just ignorant but this little boy wasn't the first child that has fell vicitim to murder. Be smart and quit depending on boyfriends to watch your kids.

When will these moms learn to stop trusting their boyfriends with there small children the mom is just as guilty as the boyfriend.

That is what's wrong with this country; no one wants to take personal responsibility for their own mistakes. Mom knew that this guy was a POS, yet she leaves her baby with him. I certainly hope that the other children are still in protective custody. Obviously she either has very poor judgement or, just as likely, cares more about herself than here children. She either needs a LOT of life education or to get her priorities straight.

It's a sad case, I know the detectives got the mother to say mean things and maybe even over exaggerated things about her boyfriend. It's sad that a little boy lost his life, but mom you weren't doing anything from what I can tell to help this boy out either. You left him with your boyfriend, now you are covering your own ass by saying the man in your life was jealous. No it's just easier and more conveniant for the detectives to pin it on your boyfriend than your negligence as a mother. I think you left him there hurt and ill and did nothing about it. Thats your fault!! This guy Josh needs to keep his mouth shut and talk to his public defender and keep his mouth shut. It's going to be over a year or longer before this ever hits trial, if he doesn't plead out. This mother doesn't need her kids back at all.

I am a mom, and I make sure my son has the best before I do. This story is not understanding I think the mom has something to do with it. She know and it will always be on the back of her mind. She dont need her kids back she need to behind bars.

I don't quite understand why the mom is getting away with this. Ya she lost a child but who put the boy to bed Sunday night. Didnt Josh say he tryed to wake him up Monday morning and the baby didnt respond so he called 911. The stories that this mom is telling pisses me off. One minute Josh is great to her and her kids and in her next breathe hes the meanest man ever. She is showing no emotion at all one child dead and the rest in proctective custody, I would be a mess she doesn't even look lke she shed a tear.

Will someone please explain to me why this MOTHER left her child with someone who the child feared, the mother is just as guilty. The mother states she was looking for a better life and that is why she left the child with him, what does that mean was she looking for a job or getting her nails done? During the interview with the mother of the child I was glad to see the mother had her nails done because no matter how hard you and your 5 children are struggling you need to make sure your nails are always done! It is real sad to see that it took the death of this child for the mother to consider Mr. Preseton a ex-boyfriend as if the child being afraid of him and Mr. Preseton being jealous of the child was not enough reason for her to end things with him. Now iam not saying that the mother did not love her child but just like a lot of other bakersfield mothers priorities of there children are not always put first.

Five kids, inadequate income and the loser ex boyfriend is babysitting. This is where America is headed folks. There is a theory that vasectomys are ruining the population as only smart, responsible people get them. Hard to argue with.
