A young man has died after being shot outside a market in east Bakersfield. The shooting happened just before 6:30 Sunday night outside Roy's Market in the 500 block of Martin Luther King Junior Blvd.

Police say 21-year-old Floyd Beam was shot multiple times and taken to Kern Medical Center where he died.

"Very vague suspect description at this point," said Sgt. Jason Townsend with the Bakersfield Police Department. "Two black males on foot and really that's about all we have. We have very little witness information."

So far, no arrests have been made. If you have any information about the shooting, call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111.

Another day in East Bakersfield!! They always have "vague" descriptions of the people responsible because everyone saw everything, but nobody will say anything to the police to get this sum off the street.

How do you blame this on undocumented immigrants Sugawhitemike? You need to clean up your mess in Oildale and your kin living on the riverbed.
