One man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in south Bakersfield.

Bakersfield police say the shooting happened around 7:30 Sunday night at the intersection of South H Street and Shamrock Way just south of Belle Terrace.

According to officers, 31-year-old Ricky Wofford got into an argument with 25-year-old Al Lee Bradley. Officers say Bradley shot Wofford twice after they got into a fight during a child custody dispute. Wofford was taken to Kern Medical Center where he later died of his wounds.

His name has not been released.

Bradley faces one count of murder in connection with the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call Bakersfield Police at 661-327-7111.
