A local woman is under arrest, accused of bringing a runaway teen from Idaho to Bakersfield, to meet her teenage son.
45-year-old Lillie Alvarado lives in an east Bakersfield apartment complex.
Police say her 15-year-old son met 14-year-old Jaidyn Bendocchi on X-Box Live, an online gaming system.
They say Alvarado picked up the girl in Coeur d'Alene last Friday night or early Saturday morning and drove to Washington state.
The two then took a train to Bakersfield.
Alvarado's neighbor says her son often complained about noise coming from the Alvarado's apartment.
"He always used to tell me that the boy was up all night playing video games, shooting games and all that, like war games. You could tell, you can hear it, really loud, up all night playing them," said neighbor Mechelle Castaneda.
The girl was found Tuesday.
Alvarado faces felony kidnapping charges. She declined our request for a jailhouse interview.
