BAKERSFIELD, CA - A man accused of taking a Bakersfield teen to Nevada to work as a prostitute, has been indicted by a federal grand jury.

Vernon McCullum III, 20, is charged with sex trafficking. Investigators say he met the 15-year-old girl in Bakersfield, then took her to Reno where McCullum worked as her pimp.

The teen was reported missing earlier this month. Police found her through a website offering sex for money.

If convicted, McCullum faces ten years to life in prison.

He faces ten years in prison, but he'll be sentenced to 8 and only serve a year or two due to overcrowding. Than he will be released into society where he can pray on another child.
