The man police say kidnapped, robbed and sexually assaulted a woman in northwest Bakersfield has been arrested in Los Angeles. Around three Saturday morning, 28-year-old Anthony Ray Graham Jr., was seen by police inside an illegally parked car in front of an apartment complex in downtown Los Angeles.
A man identified as Graham and two women were inside. After police ran a records check, it showed Graham was a wanted suspect out of Bakersfield. He was then placed into custody without incident and the two women who were with Graham were released. Graham will be taken back to Bakersfield once local detectives complete there investigation.
Back in January, Graham allegedly kidnapped a woman and her baby at gunpoint from a northwest Bakersfield shopping center. Police say Graham then forced the woman to withdraw money from an ATM while he waited in the victim's car. Later the woman was sexually assaulted in the parking lot of Fruitvale Junior High School. Graham then took off.
