Kern County has been one of the few placed where multiple industries have been able to work together successfully to support oil, ag for so long that we need to keep that the primary intent of any decision made going forward. Too many newcomers are in the dark on how well it can work and need to take their lead from those who have been here for generations. Contrary to current beliefs of the younger population, older doesn't mean worthless and without the right experience.
