"Luther Thompson had terminal cancer, but was not being treated by a doctor. The law requires an autopsy be performed in deaths like his." If he had terminal cancer, was found dead & here were no signs of foul play why would an autopsy have to be done?

The coroner's office says that after being contacted by KGET, they will prioritize this autopsy? Why would they do that? They should have told KGET they will do the autopsy just like they do all the others that are pending.
