i honestly dont think people should be going to the e.r. just because they have a headache from the heat or just cause they got a little overheated alls the dr is going to do is see them and tell them to go home and drink plenty of water and to stay out of the heat for a day or two i think that is just a waste of the dr.'s time and it makes the people who really need the health care wait longer and even possibly not be seen i think if its just that they are over heated and show no signs of a serious problem caused by the heat then they should be sent home and if they still feel that way in a day or two then to come back .

Some of the best health care professionals work in the ER at KMC. I know first hand how wonderful they are when I was hit from behind on my motorcycle. They were wonderful and respectful in their caring for me. It would be a shame to have to wait for many hours for emergency treatment, but that is what happens when the beds get full from patients who do not really need to be in the ER in the first place. What the hell is wrong with people who think its their right to complain when they must wait for NON-LIFE threatening conditions. Then when told that the ER is full they call the news to come to their rescue...Thats bullshit!!! Drink more water instead of beer and soda, and you might not be in the damm ER in the first place during this heat wave. Then when these individuals dont get into the ER in a timely manner they curse out those wonderful workers who are trying to help them. I was upset to hear a grown man call a beautiful nurse a FU**ING B**CH, but that is another story. Grow up poeople...drink more water, and stop complaining about the length of time you have to spend waiting to get help. Just think if the budget gets any worse we could see longer delays in the ER...tell that to the news then!!!
