Interest in voting down among young voters

In 2008, a record 23 million Americans 18 to 29 went to the ballot box with President Obama winning 66 percent of the demographic but this year, that enthusiasm doesn't seem to be there.

If Prop 30 passes, where's the guarantee Brown's been making the increased taxes will go to schools? It will go to the general fund, not a dedicated school fund and the general fund can be spent for anything. Calif used to have a Highway trust fund payed for by the gasoline tax you pay each time you buy a gallon of gas. Thanks to Brown the trust was moved to the general fund and Calif has some of the worse roads in the nation.
