The search is on for an inmate who escaped from the Taft Correctional Institution.
Omar Paniagua Zaragoza, 33, was housed in Taft's minimum security satellite camp facility.
During a routine check, staff noticed he was missing sunday night.
Zaragoza is described as:
5'11"
200 pounds
Black hair
Brown eyes
Has a scar on his left shin.
He was serving time for conspiracy to distribute cocaine and possession of a firearm.
