I wrote my strong objection to a law suit on an earlier post and it somehow disappeared? My point was simple, the High Speed Rail Authority has asked to negotiate and it seemed logical to follow this recomendation first before wasting monies in a contentious fight. We are all sick and tired of politicians who never compromize and stake out positions that are unretractable. We elect officials to get the job done and try and enhance positions that will benefit the body politic in sympathy to the general will. We need good jobs now. The rail construction will provide many as will it's completion enhance job possibilities throughout the North Valley and Fresno. The improvement in infrastructure will benefit us all, our children, and our children's children. Just like in the Bay Area, nobody on the Penninsula thought it was necessary and those who now have it do not know what they would do without it.
