i heard he was picked up by bpd and took to homeless center tonight 04-24-09 approx 6pm can someone call me they left his luggage behind.....please call 661-835-9022 or 661-340-3295 man has been at bus station since yesterday morning that we were told!!!!!!!

More importantly than any issues of "a good heart" is that it is illegal to deny a person the same services as anyone else because of a disability. This is a violation of the American's with Disabilities Act.

You are such a good person! If everyone had such a kind heart like yours this would be such a great world to live in. I can't believe they would be so "heartless".

I am not sure why they would turn him away. If he's homeless he's homeless and it should't matter that he is blind. Actually that should be more of reason to let him stay there because it is dangerous for him to be out in public alone.

I just don't understand how people can just turn someone away like that. Sign of the times, unfortuanately.
