I see everyone is on the same page today, these people complain about walking a few blocks to ride the bus with their free pass, from their free homeless shelter or to and from the local welfare office to get their free everything, maybe GET should just send out a private bus to their front door to pick them up when they need it? Oh yes they have get to the polls Obama has spent 1.3 trillion dollars of federal money on welfare in 2011 and it is est that this figure will more than double in 2012, California is listed in the new report as of today as having 32% of the welfare cases of the nation, we should be so proud!!!!!!!!!

DR999. you're comment had me on the floor laughing already this morning. Thank You! It's that entitlement thought process of today sadly in most cases. The dreaded half mile walk. The need to cross a street. Oh the shame of it all. If you want door to door service then call a cab...oh that's right, no assistance programs today pays to subsidize that (yet) for you does it. I worked in another state for months and I had to walk over a half mile to the closest subway station in the city, even when the snow was coming down like crazy. Then another half mile from the subway to the office everyday. Sorry, I'm not feeling a whole lot of sympathy for most of these people. Get off your behinds and walk. I don't know why people think that they shouldn't hold some level of personal responsibility.

GET, PLEASE listen to the rider's concerns! They need to be able to ride the bus to their local polling place on Nov. 6 to vote for Obama. He is their only hope to continue receiving their government assistance.

There were a lot of areas before that people had to walk a long distance to catch the closest bus.
