More than 26 hundred hamburgers were sold Wednesday outside the KGET studios to benefit the Alliance Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault.
Between the barbecue, a television raffle, and cash donations, just over 31 thousand dollars was raised to fund services for battered women and abused children in Kern County.
A big thank you goes out to our support team - Occidental Petroleum, Pros Incorporated, Premier Equipment Rentals, and Gassco, which donated the 65-inch HD 3D TV for the raffle.
